Berkhamsted Dental Practice
We are looking for an apprentice Dental Nurse to join our small, friendly team. Full training to achieve a Dental Nursing qualification and registration with the General Dental Council will be provided.
Dental Nursing offers an exciting career with lots of interaction with patients and the other members of the dental team. We will train you how to provide chair-side support to our dentists and hygienists. We will also train you to work on reception. Dental nurses are responsible for maintaining the smooth running of the surgeries and decontamination room. The practice is fully computerised, air conditioned and offers a light & airy workplace. We are a small, family run practice with a close-knit, friendly team ethos. Most of our previous apprentices have gone on to work with us for years as qualified Dental Nurses.
You must have the minimum entry requirements for a Dental Nursing apprenticeship – a pass in GCSE Maths & English.
Apprenticeship training will be provided through a combination of in-house training, online teaching and “off the job” hours, during your working day.
References are required and you will need to complete an enhanced DBS check and be vaccinated against Hepatitis-B & Covid-19.
